‘Together 2016’ Organizer Meets With ‘Pope Francis’ to Unite Christians, Catholics on National Mall

Smith, Josh McDowell, Ravi Zacharias, Francis Chan and other renown evangelical and Catholic speakers and musicians that is set to take place in Washington, D.C. is raising concerns as it seeks to draw a million attendees to “link arms” in unity, including with the Vatican.

“Together 2016” is an event to be held on July 16 at the National Mall in Washington, and seeks to unite those of various backgrounds to “stand together for Jesus.” Both Christians and Catholics alike will be featured at the prayer and worship event…

This week, Hall announced that Jorge Bergoglio, also known as Pope Francis, will be delivering a video message to those in attendance…

Five Suspects Arraigned in Beheading of Nigerian Christian

womanhanddeadas_siFive people have been arraigned in Nigeria in the brutal murder of a Christian woman who was accused of blaspheming Mohammed.

Nigerian authorities said 74-year-old Bridget Abihime, a trader and pastor’s wife, was surrounded last Thursday by a mob of Muslims and beheaded at a market in Kano.

Cloud seeding flight approved for day before fatal Tasmania flooding

575aaac8c4618882388b45b8Tasmania’s government-owned energy company has been asked to explain why it conducted cloud seeding over the Australian island shortly before heavy rains which caused catastrophic flooding.

Cloud seeding is a process which involves dropping ice crystals into clouds to cause rain and is used as a technique to maintain water levels in dams.

Despite heavy rain being forecast, Premier of Tasmania Will Hodgman said Hydro Tasmania gave the seeding go-ahead on Sunday morning.  Continue reading…

Televangelist: God Is Using Donald Trump to Prepare America for Christ’s Return

Strang said Amedia told him about the experience months ago, and urged his long-time friend to come on his podcast to discuss it. Oklahoma Police Can Seize Your Entire Bank Account on a Traffic Stop Without Any Charges

oklahoma-highway-patrolThe one state that has gone complete anti-democratic is Oklahoma. It is wise not to travel in that state at all. Oklahoma should be on a no-fly zone. Now, Oklahoma police can outright seize everything you have from debit cards to bank accounts on a traffic stop without any criminal charges being filed. If some policeman thinks you’re doing something illegal, your life is over. Without money, you cannot hire a lawyer and they can just rob everything you have on a whim.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has introduced a device called Electronic Recovery and Access to Data (ERAM) that allows police officers to seize money in your bank account or on prepaid cards. State police began using 16 of these machines last month, and now the police have become literal highway robbers. This makes the traffic cops in Russia, who you can bribe to go away if they pull you over for a speeding ticket, as a far more civilized arrangement. Pope Francis Insists that “Greater Politics” is the Realm of the Church, June 3, 2016

On June 3, 2016 Pope Francis addressed the judges and magistrates of the Vatican, insisting that the Church has a duty to intervene in political issues that cause “open wounds and dramatic suffering.” Citing the current model of the criminal justice system, he decried the prevalence of corruption and strictly penal punishments.

Pope Francis insisted that for true justice, punishment is not enough. Rather, both victims and offenders must be re-educated to give them hope for a successful re-integration into society. “No penalty that doesn’t give hope is valid. If it doesn’t give hope, it’s torture.”

“Forcefully reiterating” the Church’s stance against the death penalty, Pope Francis implores all to “let it be God who chooses when the time has come.”  Source

Christian fundamentalist schools teaching girls they must obey men

schoolgirls-classroomChristian fundamentalist schools are teaching children creationism is fact, that gay people are “unnatural” and that girls must submit to men, according to a series of claims.

Former pupils and whistle-blowers have told The Independent that the schools, which originated in the US but are now dotted around the UK and registered as independent or private schools, teach children at isolated desks separated by “dividers” from other students. It is thought more than a thousand children are being taught at dozens of schools, although little is known about them.  Continue reading…

Bang Bang! US Sees 13 Months of Breaking Gun Sales Records

1035984062America is in a national arms race with itself, with May 2016 the 13th month in a row to break guns sale records, according to FBI statistics.

Some 1,870,000 firearms-related background checks are estimated to have been completed in the US last month, setting a record for the month of May. In comparison, May 2015 saw 300,000 less checks. In 2008, the number of background gun checks in May was half that of this year.  Continue reading…
