“At General Audience, Pope Francis asks two questions: “Do I live in the fear that if I don’t do this or that I will go to hell?”; and “Do I despise the Commandments? No. I observe them, but not as absolutes, because I know that what justifies me is Jesus Christ.” Source 1Source 2.

The Ten Commandments are God’s perfect standard of righteousness and cannot be made void.

Psalm 19:7  “The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul.”

Romans 3:31  “Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.”

Biblical prophecy and historical facts confirmed that the popes has no respect at all with God’s holy ten commandments by changing times and laws (see Daniel 7:25) as well as dispensing the precept of the Decalogue for he falsely claimed himself absolute judges of all men and has the authority and very great power to do so. See below quotes:

“Fear, then, our wrath and the thunders of our vengeance; for Jesus Christ has appointed us [the popes] with his own mouth absolute judges of all men; and kings themselves are submitted to our authority.” Pope Nicholas I (858-867 AD)

“The Pope has the power to change times, to abrogate laws, and to dispense with all things, even the precepts of Christ.” “The Pope has the authority and often exercised it, to dispense with the command of Christ.” Decretal, de Tranlatic Episcop. Cap. (The Pope can modify divine law.) Ferraris’ Ecclesiastical Dictionary.

“They (the popes) allege the change of the Sabbath into the Lord’s day, contrary, as it seemeth, to the Decalogue; and they have no example more in their mouths than the change of the Sabbath. They will needs have the church’s power to be very great, because it hath dispensed with a precept of the Decalogue.Philip Schaff, The Creeds of Christendom, vol. 3, p. 64
