On the wall full of patients’ portraits is Matheryn Naovaratpong from Thailand who lost her life at an early age. “[She is] by far our youngest patient, not quite three years old… who had brain cancer. Both her parents were doctors and she had multiple brain surgeries and nothing worked, unfortunately,” said Max More, President emeritus of the cryonics facility Alcor Life Extension Foundation in Arizona, the United States. According to More, the facility currently accommodates 199 people and almost 100 pets inside tanks filled with liquid nitrogen in hopes to revive them when technology has been advanced enough to treat them. He says the patients are only “legally dead” but not biologically and believes cryonics could be their saviour. The process is a lot more complicated than just freezing and defrosting.” – SOURCE.
To undergo cryonic technology, one must be pronounced “legally dead” or the heart stopped beating but some cellular brain function remains and not “totally dead” meaning all the brain function ceases. Those who are in favor of cryonics has the prospect of immortality, and the benefits associated with avoiding death. But so far no one has actually been revived until now, because the technology to do so still does not exist.
The Bible is very plain that only God has the immortality. 1Timothy 6:16 “Who only hath immortality (G110-deathlessness), dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.”
Man is mortal, Job 4:17 says “Shall mortal man be more just than God? shall a man be more pure than his maker?”
“Mortal” means subject to death while “immortal” means deathlessness. Since “all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 3:23, then we are all subject to die “for the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life trhough Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23
Our only Saviour from sins is no other than Jesus Christ – “… and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” Matthew 1:21. And that “whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved!” Romans 10:13
When Satan preached to Eve “ye shalt not surely die” Genesis 3:4, he laid down the foundation of Spiritualism and many people receive it as pure Bible truth today. But God’s obedient people will not be deceived for we are told these things will happen in the last days, – “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;” 1Timothy 4:1.
