On February 2, 2024, the Adventist Review news reported that “In Mongolia, Adventist women pastors hold first-ever retreat… under the leadership of Ministerial Association director Bold Batsukh, held the first women’s pastor’s training in its territory, December 1-3. The first meeting sought to revive the mission spirit, realign procedures, and re-evaluate church administration strategies. Eight women pastors participated in this special event, organizers reported. The women pastors shared experiences and received training in effective pastoral care for their local churches.”

The Bible is very plain that women CANNOT be pastors nor can they usurp authority over men.

• 1 Timothy 3:2 “A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;”
• 1 Timothy 2:12 “But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.”

The existence of women pastors in the SDA church really shows that they completely apostatized from the truth and have became sister to fallen babylon (protestant churches) by imitating their practices. So there is an urgent need to “come out of her” in order to be free of any corporate sin that this apostate church has been doing.

On the other hand, I wan’t to emphasize the importance of women in the church, as shown by Esther, Ruth, Mary, Dorcas, and others. Yes, women has a blessed role. They can help their husbands who are pastors, they can speak in church and be called by God to be a prophets, as we saw with Mirriam (Exodus 15:20), Deborah (Judges 4:4), and Anna (Luke 2:36-38) just to name a few.

In fact, we have Sister White who was chosen by God to be His messenger. But she was not ordained to be a pastor. She stated:

“Some have stumbled over the fact that I said I did not claim to be a prophet and they have asked, Why is this? I have had no claims to make, only that I am instructed that I am the Lord’s messenger; that he called me in my youth to be his messenger, to receive his word, and to give a clear and decided message in the name of the Lord Jesus.” RH July 26, 1906, par. 3-4
