Jesus Christ is the only source of joy, peace and happiness that is why true Christians are the happiest people of the Earth. But no kidding, the pope has another source of happiness: comedians!

According to Vatican news on June 8, 2024, the Pope will meet with famous comedians from around the world this friday, to promote a message of peace, love and solidarity. It was also reported that he had acknowledged the power of comedy and claimed that the Scripture is rich of irony, that is, amusing passages. In fact, he stated that he prays daily for a sense of humor that he know how to laugh at a joke!

On the contrary, the Scriptures condemn joking and jesting and do not promote true peace, love and unity found only in Christ! Never!

• Ephesians 5:4 “Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.”
• Matthew 12:36 “But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.”
• Ephesians 4:29 “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.”

The pope’s claim that the power of comedy is to promote peace, love and unity demonstrates how much this man of sin hates the Bible, as he has plainly declared that “the Bible nowhere implies that it is the only source of faith.” – Question Box, p. 77.

Many sincere people long for perfect peace in their hearts. But you cannot find it in corrupt and fallen churches. True peace, joy and unity cannot be obtained by compromising Biblical principles or conforming to worldy practices. To obtain it, you must separate and “come out of her” by following the Saviour outside of the camp.

“The acceptance of the Saviour brings a glow of perfect peace, perfect love, perfect assurance. The beauty and fragrance of the character of Christ revealed in the life testifies that God has indeed sent His Son into the world to be its Saviour.” { COL 419.6}

Psalms 119:165 “Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.”

Jesus said “follow me.” Will you obey?
