VIDEO: Whale swallows kayaker – then spits him out

A kayaker was swallowed by a humpback whale off Chilean Patagonia but spitted out uninjured. Video of the event went viral. Watch:

Amazing isn’t it? This video reminds us of the story of Jonah and the whale in the Bible.

  • Jonah 1:17 says, “Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.”

The sign of Jonah shows that Jesus, the Son of man, is the One sent by God as our Saviour.

Luke 11:30, 32 “(30) For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation… (32) The men of Nineve shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.”

The story of Jonah emphasizes the importance of obeying God’s law. His initial refusal to go to Nineveh causes problems, proving that avoiding to keep the law is pointless. Jonah’s whale experience symbolizes faith through trials. His prayers demonstrate how faith can help us overcome obstacles and change. Repentance of sin can offer forgiveness and new beginnings only through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, as Jonah and Nineveh demonstrate. God’s mercy in sparing Nineveh teaches us to forgive and offer second chances, believing others can change by God’s grace.

It is true that God’s mercy and love is unlimited. But, when the whole world “have made void Thy law,” Psalm 119:126, by enforcing the mark of the beast and choosing the law of man above the law of God, His mercy will plead no more. Today, the last call is being made. Come, is the invitation for all things are now ready. The next thing that will happen is God’s unmerciful wrath.

Will you hear and come? Are you ready? Are you sure?!

Truth is truth!
