Speaker Mike Johnson recently defended the idea that America was founded as a “Christian nation” and called the separation of church and state a “misunderstanding” of Thomas Jefferson’s intent.

Johnson wrote, “Jefferson clearly did not mean that metaphorical ‘wall’ was to keep religion from influencing issues of civil government. To the contrary, it was meant to keep the federal government from impeding the religious practice of citizens.” – Source

He argues that faith should influence public policy, and with the IRS easing restrictions on churches’ political speech, this influence is becoming more prevalent.

But according to the Bible, this union is dangerous. Jesus said, “Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s” (Matthew 22:21). Revelation 13 warns of a power that looks like a lamb but speaks as a dragon, enforcing worship through civil law. This is prophecy—and it’s rapidly fulfilling.

The union of church and state is not revival—it’s apostasy. America, once a refuge of liberty, is preparing to enforce the power of Rome. The rise of movements like **Project 2025—already 46% complete—** signals how close we are to a national Sunday law.

God’s people must give the loud cry now! The message of Revelation 14 must go to every nation. Let us prepare, stay faithful to God’s commandments—not man’s decrees—and warn the world before it’s too late.

The crisis is coming. The time is now.
