The roar of flames. A car has crashed. There is panic in the air. Then there was hope.
A group of ordinary people saw danger and didn’t run away; instead, they rushed in. These Good Samaritans didn’t think twice before pulling a man out of a burning wreck. They ignored fear, embraced courage, and showed that love still exists by putting themselves in danger to save another.
Selflessness was louder than the fire at that very moment. Maybe it’s not always obvious, but love is still out there in the fear, the bravery, and the action.
As the Bible says:
“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”John 15:13
