ROME — LGBT advocate Father James Martin, SJ, said Thursday that churches have a special duty to celebrate Gay Pride, since much anti-gay violence has been “motivated by religion.”… “The Catechism of the Catholic Church asks us to treat LGBTQ people with respect, compassion, and sensitivity,” he notes. “And participating in Pride events, or at least supporting our LGBTQ friends is one way to do this.” Celebrating Pride “doesn’t mean you have to agree with what every video, every article, or even every float in a parade has to say,” he cautions. “It’s more about supporting the fundamental human rights of this community: the right to live in safety, the right to be treated as equals, and the right to be fully welcomed in the society.” – Source.
Instead of celebrating and supporting SIN, Biblical truth teaches us to “have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.” Ephesians 5:11. Yes, we should hate the sin that caused sufferings of our dear Lord and Saviour Jesus but we should love the sinners for whom Christ died.

As a student of prophecy, we all know that homosexuality is to return as an acceptable lifestyle as in the days of Sodom before Jesus’ second coming. We read in Luke 17:28-30 “as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.” That day has come!
