The Vatican News on February 27, 2023, reported that the “Nicaraguan President bans Easter processions” after comparing the Catholic church to the “mafia”.
“In his address to the nation, (Daniel) Ortega also accused the papacy of having supported Italian dictator Mussolini, and the Vatican of being a “mafia organization”.
“I don’t believe in popes or kings: who chooses the Pope?” he said. “If we want to talk about democracy, the people should first elect priests and the bishops”, and “even the Pope” should be “elected by direct vote and not by the organized mafia in the Vatican.”
Although this Nicaraguan president claimed to be an atheist and been in conflict with the Catholic church, yet his statements regarding the papacy are valid. Historical evidence proved that Mussolini, like Hitler, were backed by the Vatican and were given the title “defender of the faith” by the Catholic church. In 1929 a historic Roman pact occurred between the two which led to the fulfillment of Revelation 13:3 that “his (papacy) deadly wound was healed”.

Pope Becomes Ruler Of A State Again
Rome, June 7.–From 11 o’ clock this morning there was another sovereign independent State in the world. At that time Premier Mussolini, as Italian Foreign Minister representing King Victor Emmanuel–the first Italian Premier ever to cross the threshold of the Vatican–exchanged with Cardinal Gasparri, Papal Secretary of State, representing Pope Pius XI, ratifications of the treaties signed at the Lateran Palace on Feb. 11. The papacy is the prophesied “Antichrist” in Rome who christianized and adapted the pagan Easter. Hence, NO obedient Christians should celebrate this holiday NOR attached it in the death and resurrection of Christ.
Prophecy foretold that “all the world wondered after the beast” Revelation 13:3. How? By accepting the mark of authority of the Pope which is SUNday.
