Pope Denies Hell AGAIN

Pope Francis said this week he believes in hell but likes to think of it as “empty” because of God’s great mercy.” according to news headline on January 16, 2024. He continues by saying that, “What I will say is not a dogma of faith but something personal,” the pontiff said Sunday evening on the Italian television program Che Tempo Che Fa. “I like to think of hell as empty; I hope it is,” he told the show’s host, Fabio Fazio.

“This is not the first time the pope’s hypotheses on hell have raised a stir. In March 2018, for instance, the Italian daily La Repubblica reported that the pope had told his longtime friend, Eugenio Scalfari, founder of the newspaper, that he does not believe hell exists. Asked by Scalfari, an atheist, about the punishment of the “bad” souls of people who died in sin, Pope Francis is quoted as denying hell.”

Ironically, the Catholic church believes that immediately after death the souls of those who die in a state of mortal sin descend into hell where they suffer the punishments of hell or eternal fire.

Confusingly back in 2013, Pope Francis assures atheists that you don’t have to believe in God to go to heaven

For the pope declaring such things only adds to more confusion and only reveals how much he hated the Word of God like all past popes. In fact, the Vatican admitted that the Catholic church is above the Bible and has the power to make laws binding before God and binding under penalty of hell-fire.

“Sunday is our MARK or authority. . . the church is above the Bible, and this transference of Sabbath observance is proof of that fact” – Catholic Record of London, Ontario Sept 1,1923.

“There is but one church [Catholic] on the face of the earth which has the power, or claims power, to make laws binding on the conscience, binding before God, binding under penalty of hell-fire.” – T. Enright, C.S.S.R., in a lecture delivered in 1893.

Those who read and study the Bible on a daily basis understand that hell is NOT a place, BUT rather a one time event in which the wicked will be punished at the end.

  • 2 Peter 2:9 “The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:”
  • Job 21:29-30 “Have ye not asked them that go by the way? and do ye not know their tokens, 30 That the wicked is reserved to the day of destruction? they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath.”

The wicked shall consume away which means they will be burned till become ashes.

  • Psalms 37:20 “But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.”
  • Malachi 4:3 “And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.”

In short, the wicked will not go directly to this punishment of hellfire immediately after death contrary to what the Catholic church believes. Keep in mind that the “wages of sin is death.” Romans 6:23. And “sin is the transgression of the law.” 1 John 3:4

Again by saying that athiest can go to heaven is echoing the voice of Satan.

“By representing the basest of men as in Heaven, and highly exalted there, Satan virtually declares to the world, No matter how wicked you are; no matter whether you believe or disbelieve God and the Bible. Live as you please; Heaven is your home.” { 4SP 374.2 }

  • Malachi 2:17 “Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?”

But the word of the Lord said:

  • Isaiah 5:20 “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

And what would be Satan’s and Rome’s final punishment?

  • “Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. And they that shall see the shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake the kingdoms” Isaiah 14:15-16

And what does God want you to do if you find yourself connected to this Babylonian church?

  • Revelation 18:4 “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”
