Back in August 2024, the pope said that turning away migrants is a grave sin and urged that immigration laws should not be made stricter but rather looser. In August 2017, he made it clear that he believed the safety of both legal and illegal migrants should override national security concerns.

On the other hand, a news article reported that the, “the Vatican has enacted stiffer penalties on anyone entering its territory or violating its airspace without permission, threatening offenders with fines and jail time.” So, even an outspoken Catholic leader called the Pope out on his hypocrisy about open borders.

In short, the pope is okay with allowing illegals into other countries, especially the USA, but NOT in Vatican. Hypocrite!

Remember when the pope said that building walls is not Christian? When in fact the Vatican has this massive wall that’s really high and tall surrounding it? Yes, that’s a double standard, and that’s hypocrisy!

And that is one of the characteristics of the man of sin of the Vatican as prophesied.

Jesus denounced the Pharisees for their hypocrisy in the past and continues to do so today.

Matthew 23:28″Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.”
