Project 2025 is a political and religious initiative aimed at reshaping the U.S. federal government initiated by The Heritage Foundation. Its main goals are now 42% complete and include:

• Streamlining the federal government by reducing bureaucracy and consolidating executive power.
• Reforming policies related to taxation, immigration enforcement, social welfare, and energy, with a focus on reducing environmental regulations.
• Addressing cultural issues, such as removing diversity, equity, and inclusion programs, and abolishing the teaching of critical race theory and gender ideology in public schools.
• Restructuring federal agencies, including proposals to dismantle or abolish certain departments like the Department of Education and Department of Homeland Security.

Trump says he knows “nothing about it” and disagrees with some Project 2025 proposals. But, the Heritage Foundation, which spearheaded the project, has connections to many of Trump’s former aides and allies.

Yes, Project 2025 includes a proposal for a federal labor law that would encourage Christians to observe a “Sabbath Rest” on Sundays which is against the principle of separation of church and state.
