Pope Leo XIV, born Robert Francis Prevost, was elected as the 267th Pope of the Catholic Church on May 8, 2025, following the death of Pope Francis. He is the first American pope.
Interestingly, Cardinal Prevost chose the name Leo to honor the late Pope Leo XIII because of his encyclical Rerum Novarum (1891). Not only does he draw his inspiration from Leo XIII but also from Pope Francis’ Laudato Si’, signaling his commitment to align with their agenda.
Why is this a big deal? Well, Rerum Novarum and Laudato Si’ encyclicals both emphasize the importance of Sunday Rest as a time for spiritual and physical renewal.
- “41. From this follows the obligation of the cessation from work and labor on Sundays and certain holy days. The rest from labor is not to be understood as mere giving way to idleness; much less must it be an occasion for spending money and for vicious indulgence, as many would have it to be; but it should be rest from labor, hallowed by religion. Rest (combined with religious observances) disposes man to forget for a while the business of his everyday life, to turn his thoughts to things heavenly, and to the worship which he so strictly owes to the eternal Godhead. It is this, above all, which is the reason arid motive of Sunday rest; a rest sanctioned by God’s great law of the Ancient Covenant-“Remember thou keep holy the Sabbath day,”(31) and taught to the world by His own mysterious “rest” after the creation of man: “He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.”(32) – Rerum Novarum para 41 (1891)
- “On Sunday, our participation in the Eucharist has special importance. Sunday, like the Jewish Sabbath, is meant to be a day which heals our relationship with God, with ourselves, with others and with the world. Sunday is the day of the Resurrection, the “first day” of the new creation, whose first fruits are the Lord’s risen humanity, the pledge of the final transfiguration of all created reality. It also proclaims “man’s eternal rest in God.” In this way, Christian spirituality incorporates the value of relaxation and festivity… And so the day of rest, centered on the Eucharist, sheds it light on the whole week, and motivates us to greater concern for nature and the poor.” – Laudato Si’ para 237 (2015) (Read more on this page about climate change)
We are living in an exciting time as the prophecy unfolds, dear friends.
Revelation 13:12 says, “And he (USA) exerciseth all the power of the first beast (Vatican) before him (USA), and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast (Vatican), whose deadly wound was healed.”
Yes, the USA, as the second beast of Revelation 13, will use all of the power of the first beast (Vatican), to force the rest of the world to worship it by enforcing its power and law, the Vatican’s Sunday, which will begin in the USA and spread around the world. Similar to how the Covid plannedemic was enforced.
Having said that, the US Project 2025 mandate is already nearly 50% completed which encourage Christians to observe a “Sabbath Rest” on Sundays. Truly, Sunday laws will soon be enforced!
Get ready, get ready, get ready! Time is running out! We must prepare ourselves, our family, and our friends to make peace with God today and be worthy to meet our God!
Truth is truth!
