Jesus said, “But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” -Matthew 24:37.
The antediluvian world appeared prosperous, advanced, and secure before the Flood. Eating, drinking, marrying, building, buying, and selling. Daily life felt normal. But the moral and spiritual fall was heartbreaking. All kinds of sin and crime were common. There were violence, corruption, confusion, pride and selfishness, and indifference to God’s warnings.
Those very conditions are now here showing that we are living in the days of Noah again. Daily headlines show that these order of things are becoming normal. But the Bible said these things would get worse as the world gets closer to the end.
Many violent crimes in the cities, and big events demand significant security. Major public rallies were marred by violent attacks including stabbings, and many arrests were made recently. (New York Post)
Corruption appears in many forms such as political corruption, corporate greed, financial manipulation, digital fraud, cybercrime, and widespread dishonesty. AI is now creating entirely new forms of deception through deepfakes, impersonation, frauds, scams, and misinformation. Cybersecurity experts warn that AI-powered fraud is growing rapidly and becoming more sophisticated. Truth is becoming more difficult to detect unless you are grounded in the Word of God. (pcmag.com)
Governments, corporations, and religious leaders are all trying to figure out how to control AI. From job loss and surveillance to military applications and loss of privacy are concerns. AI experts warn that capabilities are advancing rapidly while governance and safety are lagging behind. (The Guardian; Business Insider; see also this blog)
The Bible does not condemn technology but it reveals what happens when human intelligence dominates moral character. So, the question now is whether we are growing more godly as technology advances.
Isaiah warned, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil.” – Isaiah 5:20
Modern society is confused about morality, truth, identity, and biblical standards.
God’s law is increasingly seen as old fashioned while human opinion becomes the standard for determining right and wrong.
The result is exactly what the Scripture said that “Every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” – Genesis 6:5
When society rejects God’s authority, moral confusion is unavoidable.
Indifference to Judgment: Perhaps the most striking similarity to Noah’s day is the attitude of indifference.
Jesus said, “They knew not until the flood came, and took them all away.” – Matthew 24:39
Most people in Noah’s day did not believe judgment was coming.
Today, millions acknowledge that the world is in crisis, yet only few believe Bible prophecy is being fulfilled before their eyes.
People are focused on: careers, entertainment, technology, politics, sports, and financial survival.
Meanwhile, the signs Jesus gave are appearing one after another.
The Final Warning
The greatest lesson from Noah’s day is that only a small number prepared for it. Noah preached for decades while the world continued with business as usual. They were wrong. They had no care till the waters came and took them all away.
Today the signs are rapidly multiplying:
- violence is increasing,
- corruption is spreading,
- deception is accelerating,
- technology is advancing at unprecedented speed,
- and the world is drifting farther from God’s law.
Jesus told us exactly what to expect. Soon you and I will face a final test. But we must not fail by God’s grace. Yes, Christian prophecy is 100% accurate.
The days of Noah are back.
The question now is, are we ready for Christ’s return?
The ark of safety today is not a wooden vessel. It is a saving relationship with Jesus Christ, obedience to God’s Word, and heart preparation for the soon coming King.
The world ignored Noah’s warning.
We must not ignore Christ’s.
He has promised help.
“In the antediluvian world human agencies brought in all manner of devisings and ingenious practices to make of no effect the law of Jehovah. They cast aside His authority because it interfered with their schemes. As in the days before the Flood, so now the time is right upon us when the Lord must reveal His omnipotent power. In this time of prevailing iniquity we may know that the last great crisis is at hand. When defiance against God’s law is almost universal, when His people are oppressed and afflicted by their fellow men, the Lord will interpose.” { 9T 92.1}
