jesus-tempted-in-the-wildernessA 44-year-old pastor in South Africa tried to emulate Jesus Christ who fasted in the wilderness for 40 days and 40 nights to prepare for His ministry as written in the gospels of Luke, Mark and Matthew.

However, Pastor Alfred Ndlovu died of malnutrition after enduring 30 days without food and water in the South African wilderness, Buzz South Africa reports.

His body was reportedly found lying on the ground in the wilderness by a man passing by the area. The unidentified man alerted the police who then informed his family and congregation about what had happened. Continue reading

A pastor with the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), in Obi town, in Nigeria’s central State of Nasarawa, was killed by suspected armed Fulani herdsmen, on June 30.

As many as 69 percent in the U.S. say physicians should be allowed to end patients’ lives by painless means, and 51 percent say they would consider ending their own lives if they personally had a disease that could not be cured and they were living in severe pain, a new Values and Beliefs poll by Gallup found.

Nearly 50 die in Central Java landslides, authorities warn of more rain
