On December 9, 2023, the Breitbart.com reported that the “Satanic Temple set up a holiday homage to the occult “deity” Baphomet in the Iowa Statehouse, drawing concern from Christians about the “abhorrent” and “evil” display.”
It goes on to say that “We’re going to really relish the opportunity to be represented in a public forum. We don’t have a church on every street corner,” co-founder of the Satanic Temple Lucien Greaves told KCCI News.
“The Iowa Department of Administrative Services said the group followed the same rules as other groups to get approval for the display, WHO 13 News reported on Wednesday. The display, which features “a ram’s head covered with mirrors on a mannequin cloaked in red clothing,” will be on display at the Capitol for 14 days.”
During the Christmas season, many people like seeing the Christmas trees and Santa Claus without concern. Because the majority of people are unaware of the origins of Christmas, they will be outraged by this pagan display. Ironically, many people are also unaware that the majority of churches now are all approved government agencies, that we have to “come out and separate”, including the Satanic Temple, therefore, they have the same level of “rights” as all the so-called churches to push their program.
On the other hand, as all true obedient Christians are aware, Christmas is not for Christians. In fact, it’s origin is not supported by the Bible. The Catholic church has adopted this pagan custom and “christianized” it. And, lo and behold, the so-called Christendom accepted this abomination without protest.
Notice the admission of the Roman church. Cardinal Newman admits in his book that; the “temples, incense, oil lamps, votive offerings, holy water, holidays, and seasons of devotion, processions, blessings of the fields, sacerdotal vestments, the tonsure (of priests, munks and nuns), images, and statues… are all of pagan origin.” –The Development of the Christian ReligionCardinal Newman p.359
