Residents are surveying damage from unusually vicious weather in multiple U.S. states where violent twisters, blinding dust storms and fast-moving wildfires decimated entire neighborhoods. As of Sunday afternoon, at least 37 people had been killed as a sprawling storm barreled across the nation’s midsection toward the East Coast. The National Weather Service says tornado watches had mostly expired, but damaging winds are still possible for the Carolinas, east Georgia and northern Florida. We are living in perilous times.

These natural calamities will continue to be terrifying until the adversary of souls deceives men into accusing the obedient and faithful few, who keep the seal of God, of causing these evils and of offending God because they do not keep Sunday holy, at which point Sunday observance shall be enforced. This is why the great deceiver has inspired the pope to push his climate change agenda in order to enforce his mark.
