In the closing chapters of human history, the Bible describes a beast power that looks like a lamb with two horns but speaks like a dragon (Revelation 13:11). This symbolism shows something very important: a nation that used to stand up for freedom is now increasingly uses its dragonic voice of authority and power to shape a new world order globally, not by persuasion, but through threat and force.
This is not coincidence, but rather a warning of upcoming events. This is not just diplomatic cooperation but it symbolizes a growing partnership of church and state at the highest level, one that will have a huge impact on world events ahead of us. The pope’s invitation to the U.S. “Board of Peace” may appear good, but peace built on human compromise and political authority, especially with religious endorsement, conceals a deeper departure from God’s principles. The Bible prophetically warned that “when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.” (1 Thessalonians 5:3)
As we read the “What’s in the News” headlines, we can see how the prophetic symbolism in Revelation is now unfolding:
- The U.S. using broad tariffs as instruments of geopolitical pressure
- Strategic attention to places like Venezuela, Iran, and Greenland
- The Project 2025 blueprint for consolidating executive authority, leading to enforcement of the mark of the beast (see this blog on it’s overall progress).
- Global governance discussions such as adaptive world system plans that resemble “10 kingdoms” regional blocs of the Club of Rome. (Notice that Greenland is part of Kingdom 1)
These developments imply a shift from liberty to global power.
Interestingly, a Roman Catholic priest and editor, David S. Phelan, provided a remarkable historical perspective:
“Why is the Pope such a tremendous power? All the emperors, all the kings, all the princes, all the Presidents of the world to-day, are as these altar boys of mine. The Pope is the ruler of the world.” Western Watchman, June 27, 1912
This statement shows the papal power as both a global authority and a spiritual leader. It was prophesied that all the world would wonder after the beast, and so it has. (See Revelation 17:8)
We are now living in times when the lines between civil authority, religious influence, and global rule are increasingly indistinct.
“The agencies of evil are combining their forces and consolidating. They are strengthening for the last great crisis. Great changes are soon to take place in our world, and the final movements will be rapid ones.” 9T 11.2
We must discern the signs of the times, stand for the truth, defend the faith once delivered to the saints, and be ready.
