The Black Lives Matter movement has declared its opposition to the traditional biblical family.

On the “Guiding Principles” page of its website, the Black Lives Matter movement makes the stunning statement that it stands in opposition to the traditional—biblical—”nuclear family.”

Under the tab “Black Villages,” it makes the following statement:

We are committed to disrupting the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and “villages” that collectively care for one another, and especially “our” children to the degree that mothers, parents and children are comfortable. Leading Faith-Based University Embraces Obama Admin’s ‘Transgender’ Mandate

Pepperdine University is a private California school affiliated with the Churches of Christ. In terms of a total number of students, Pepperdine is the largest Church of Christ-affiliated university in the U.S., with a total student body of approximately 7,500.  Continue reading

Montel Williams Implores Christians to Accept LGBT Community: ‘We Are All Equal In the Eyes of the Lord’

Cynthia Coffman said she felt like she was at church.

Coffman’s speculation wasn’t far off. As Williams addressed the brunch held to promote inclusion of the LGBT community among the Republican Party less than a mile from the GOP convention, he admonished Christians to repel discrimination against anyone — especially discrimination based on a person’s sexual orientation.

“Too often we hear religious liberty used as a justification for legislative ideas that marginalize the LGBT community,” Williams, an ardent opponent of the so-called bathroom bills, said. Continue reading

Attorney: Archdiocese ‘Cover Up’ Leads All The Way To The Vatican [ Video ]

Jeff Anderson, an attorney who has represented hundreds of people claiming sex abuse by priests, told reporters Wednesday afternoon that documents recently made public show that former Archbishop John Nienstedt had a “sexual interest” in former priest Curtis Wehmeyer, as well as other priests.  Continue reading

United Methodist church elects first openly gay bishop despite marriage ban

The western district of the United Methodist church (UMC) elected an openly gay bishop on Friday, despit3629e its ban on same-sex relationships. The Rev Karen Oliveto was elected late in the evening at a meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona, of the church’s western jurisdiction.

In remarks published on the UMC website, Oliveto said: “Today we took a step closer to embody beloved community and while we may be moving there, we are not there yet. We are moving on to perfection.” Continue reading

Hillary Clinton Marches in New York City Homosexual Pride Parade

NEW YORK — Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton marched in New York City’s homosexual pride parade on Sunday, waving a rainbow flag.

According to reports, Clinton marched for two blocks in the area of the Stonewall Inn, a tavern that the Obama administration has sought to have dedicated as a monument to homosexual rights. She was joined by Al Sharpton, a controversial ordained Baptist minister, Gov. Andrew Cuomo and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio. Actress Cynthia Nixon of “Sex in the City” marched with Clinton as well.   Continue reading

United Methodists Nominate Three Openly Homosexual Candidates for Bishop Despite Prohibition

Two jurisdictions under the United Methodist Church have nominated openly homosexual candidates for bishop despite prohibitions against such appointments.

Karen Oliveto, David Meredith and Frank Wulf were all nominated during the meetings of the Western and North Central jurisdictions last month, with their nomination being publicly announced earlier this week by Reconciling Ministries, a homosexual advocacy group that professes to be Christian.   Continue reading

The owner of online dating site ChristianMingle.com has agreed to let gay and lesbian users search for same-sex matches under a judge-approved settlement of discrimination claims.

Two gay men filed class-actions claims against Spark Networks Inc.in California courts in 2013 alleging that ChristianMingle.com and several other sites in the company’s portfolio of niche dating services excluded users looking to meet singles of the same sex.   Continue reading

Judge Strikes Down Religious Freedom Law Protecting Right to Decline Part in Same-Sex Ceremonies

JACKSON, Miss. (Reuters) A federal judge has blocked a Mississippi law intended to allow people who object on religious grounds to decline services for homosexual ceremonies.

U.S. District Judge Carlton Reeves, in a ruling late on Thursday, said that the wide-ranging law adopted this spring unconstitutionally allowed “arbitrary discrimination” against the homosexuals, unmarried people and others who do not share such views.   Continue reading
