Pentecostals meet Pope Francis; World Council of Churches’ Tveit speaks at Pentecostal conference

pentecostal-world-fellowship-conferencePope Francis met with a group of Italian Pentecostal pastors Sept. 8, telling them that unity is achieved by walking patiently together.

In São Paulo, Brazil, on Sept. 7, Rev. Olav Fykse Tveit, general secretary of the World Council of Churches spoke about climate change during the opening day of the 24th Pentecostal World Conference.

“We all sin against the Holy Spirit if we ignore climate change,” said Rev. Tveit.

The encounters between the head of the Catholic Church and the leader of the WCC which represents mainly Anglican, Orthodox and traditional Protestant churches comes at time of greater ecumenical contact across the board.    Continue reading

U.S. court rejects Muslim’s demand to use Shariah

gavel-american-flag-600“A state court in Minnesota, which already is heavily influenced by a large population of Muslim immigrants and has one district represented in Congress by a Muslim, has decided that in America, it’s American inheritance law that applies. …The opinion, which was marked “unpublished” and not to be used for citation, involved the claim of Hosameldin Ibrahim Imbabi of Gold River, California. Representing himself, he claimed that all of the parties in the case were Muslims, so the state court should apply Islamic law.” –Source

Of course this case is minuscule in its long prophesied expectation of Shariah in America as it’s only regarding some Muslim who wants to make sure his dead brother’s widow only gets 25% of his estate. And yes, the man failed to get Shariah allowed. And yes, as usual, Satan uses the love of money to get things done and so this ends up in court so as to help the Muslim get some extra funds while at the same time tickle the ears of the judges regarding Sharia law in the long run. Still, it’s not a guillotine worthy decision and it really doesn’t matter if the man appeals or not to that end. BUT they do have to start somewhere.  Continue reading

Ecumenical autumn: Pope’s calendar filled with dialogue opportunities

VATICAN CITY (CNS) — Hopes for Christian unity may not be spring fresh, but Pope Francis’ fall calendar is filled with ecumenical appointments.

Even as developments within Christian denominations seem to be solidifying differences that would make full unity difficult, there is no sign that the desire to meet and dialogue is waning. And, in fact, divided Christians are finding more opportunities to pray together and engage in joint work to help the poor and needy.

Pope Francis will open his season of ecumenical engagements Sept. 20 when he joins other Christian leaders and representatives of other religions in Assisi to commemorate the 30th anniversary of St. John Paul II’s interreligious peace gathering. Ten days later, Pope Francis flies to Georgia, a predominantly Orthodox nation. In October, he will meet and pray with Anglican Archbishop Justin Welby of Canterbury and, at the end of the month, he will fly to Sweden to take part in ecumenical events launching commemorations of the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation.   Continue reading

Pope declares Mother Teresa a Saint

maT-Buddha“VATICAN CITY (Reuters) – Mother Teresa of Calcutta, known as the “saint of the gutters” during her life, was declared a saint of the Roman Catholic Church by Pope Francis on Sunday, fast-tracked to canonization just 19 years after her death. Tens of thousands of pilgrims packed St. Peter’s Square at the Vatican for a service to honor the tiny nun, who worked among the world’s neediest in the slums of the Indian city now called Kolkata and become one of the most recognizable faces of the 20th century.” –Source

There’s only one reason, well actually 100,000,000 reasons why the Pope declared Mother Teresa a saint. Her ministry brings in at least $100 million dollars a year into the Vatican coffers and so they must declare her a saint to keep the money flowing. But, there is a more sinister reason he is doing this. Mother Teresa was not a Christian. She even wanted to quit and leave the order because she said, and I quote, “Where is my faith? Even deep down… there is nothing but emptiness and darkness… If there be God, please forgive me.” She also said, “What do I labor for? If there be no God, there can be no soul. If there be no soul then, Jesus, You also are not true.” (-Source of these quotes and MUCH more)   Continue reading

SUNDAY LAW: The one commandment that almost all Christians break, and why it matters

10-commandmentsIt had been a very busy time. I’d already been in Israel and Palestine for a month or so. In between volunteer shifts (I was there with the World Council of Churches) I had been taking every opportunity to meet people and see the sights.

Although there is a wonder about that place, there’s also a sadness. For every inspiring historical site, there’s another contemporary situation that breaks your heart.

So it was in a state of some tiredness that I came woke early in my apartment near Ramallah in Palestine, headed through the misery of the Qalandiya checkpoint and up into the north of Israel.

I was to be staying for the weekend at a Kibbutz near Nazareth. This was an unusual enough experience in itself but I was also going to be there throughout Sabbath, staying with an observant family.   Continue reading

Petition urges Pope Francis to withdraw ‘nightmare’ Vatican sex-ed program

The_meeting_point-boy_grabbing_girls_butt_810_500_55_s_c1“The petition states: We, the undersigned, are scandalized and disheartened by the Pontifical Council for the Family’s new project known as The Meeting Point: Project for Affective and Sexual Formation. This project has many dangerous flaws. For example:

  • It fails to state in clear language that parents are the primary educators of their children.
  • It never mentions Christ’s teaching on marriage.
  • It never names or denounces sexual behaviors such as fornication, masturbation, and homosexual activity.
  • It fails to provide any instruction on the Commandments, sin, and the sacraments.
  • It uses pictures of life-size naked sculptures to point out the physical differences (including genitals) between a man and a woman in a mixed classroom setting.
  • It shows suggestive and provocative images.
  • It recommends sexually explicit movies as catalysts to discussion.

…we humbly beg you to protect and guide your flock by retracting this project and restating the Church’s perennial teachings on both the primacy of parents as the educators of their children and the proper approach of extreme caution to this task as explained in Familiaris Consortio.” –Source

This is so very disgusting! They actually push porn on the children in multiple fashions and then ask them to watch porn at home so as to discuss it in school the next day? And yes, “sexually explicit movies” are in fact porn be they PG to XXX. Some may disagree, but I am not one to agree with Hollywood and their rating system when after just a few short decades have normalized all sorts of disgusting garbage as perfectly acceptable for Christians and nonChristians alike. Truth is, one can find sexually explicit images in G-rated Disney movies. Call me a prude or old fashioned. I don’t care. Basic reality is, a few short decades ago, what they show in a PG rated movie today was considered way too explicit. Today, all you need to watch such things is to have a parent nearby or an ID card showing you’re 17 years old! That wasn’t normal 50 years ago and it is NOT normal today. Well.. at least not for people with Christian morals.  Continue reading

Why Catholics thrive in the CIA

P26-CIA-800x500“The agency has been dubbed ‘Catholics In Action’ because the faithful have occupied so many senior positions. But could their dominance be weakening? …The CIA is the best known of the 17 agencies that comprise the American intelligence community. It has earned itself nicknames like “Catholic Intelligence Agency” and “Catholics In Action”. It’s worth exploring why. No official statistics exist on Catholics in the CIA or any other American intelligence agency. But one interesting clue is the relatively high number of Catholics who have served as director of the agency.” –Source

And why do you suppose they don’t want to have a list of Vatican operatives (Catholics in high office in USA) in the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA)? Seem obvious to me. Especially since many already know about the information being posted online that confirms the CIA is running ISIS. If the general public knows the Vatican runs the CIA and ISIS it will make it far too easy for the common man (you and me) to make the connection between Islam and the Vatican. Continue reading

‘Pope Francis’ Claims Mary Was ‘Assumed Into Heaven Body and Soul’ on Feast of Assumption

Pope_Francis_in_March_2013-300x200ROME — Jorge Bergoglio, also known as “Pope Francis,” asked for Mary to intercede for the oppressed on Monday and claimed to the thousands gathered to observe what is known as the Roman Catholic “Feast of the Assumption” that she had been “assumed into Heaven body and soul.”

“To the Queen of Peace, who we contemplate today in heavenly glory, I wish to entrust once again the anxieties and sufferings of the people who, in many parts of the world, are innocent victims of persistent conflict,” he said.  Continue reading

Pope Francis: Capitalism Is ‘Terrorism Against All of Humanity’

Pope_590“The remarks followed similar comments made Wednesday, when Pope Francis argued that the current Middle East conflicts are wars over economic and political interests—not religion or so-called “Islamic terrorism.” “There is war for money,” he said Wednesday, according to The Wall Street Journal. “There is war for natural resources. There is war for the domination of peoples. Some might think I am speaking of religious war. No. All religions want peace; it is other people who want war.” –Source

Either the Pope has a spiritually lethal mental defect making it impossible for him to see the truth on Islam, or as I and many other students of prophecy have been saying for decades, the Popes of Rome have one agenda and one agenda only. Uplift Satan, his agenda to destroy as many lives as possible and since the work is nearly done wherein most people trust the lies over the truth staring them in the face, the Pope’s of Rome will gleefully spout as many lies as possible so as to push forth the lie that Islam is a peaceful religion so as to push the other lie that Sunday is the Sabbath and all must bow to Satan so as to have the peace they are craving in their countries. Muslims Answered the call to join Catholics at their Sunday Mass

CoscghUVMAAWbtwMany Muslims attended church in France this Sunday to show compassion for slain priest, Father Jacques Hamel, and solidarity with their Catholic compatriots.

Nowhere was the emotion stronger than in Rouen Cathedral, near Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray, where the elderly priest had his throat slit in church, in the name of ISIL.

“It is the same God. It is the house of God,” said one Muslim woman, among at least 100 who attended the Rouen service in a cathedral packed with nearly 2,000 worshippers.

France’s Muslim Council urged those who follow Islam to attend Mass this Sunday.  Continue reading
