So many people read Bibles today but next to no one understands what they read because they don’t study their Bibles. You simply cannot read a Bible like you do a menu at a restaurant, or the instructions on how to build some cheap furniture. Now yes, you can get something out of reading the Bible this way, and is how most find Jesus as Lord. That’s what I like to call milky reading of the Word. But once you find Jesus, you get to know Him and His Word more deeply with each passing day if in fact you read His Word daily. (as you should) As you grow closer to Him you start to see things in His Word you missed when you read it before because as is stated Isaiah 28:9, you are starting to understand doctrine as a child that is weaned from the milk.
Isaiah 28:9, “Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.”
This is why Paul said what he did in 1 Corinthians 3:2 which was, “I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.” And so as we can see some areas of the Bible are easy enough for the babe in Christ to grasp so as to find their Saviour. But other areas are only opened up to them that study their Bibles so as to get to the meat to grow spiritually. But, look around. We are in the last days wherein most only read the Bible as if their building a cheap piece of furniture so as to get it over with quickly. The busy lifestyle of today, or simple laziness is very effective in getting people crippled in their faith. This is nothing new as it was something Paul touched on when he said what he did long ago in Hebrews 5:12-14, “For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”
Like today, the Christians of old got lazy and they never grew to understand the Word. Lazy or busy people are incapable of understanding Scripture because #1, they won’t take the time to read it properly and #2, in so doing they fall into the trap of trusting their pastors do all the reading for them; who in turn cannot understand either due to disobedience in everything from the agreement to join hands with the beast in Rome to keep the Pagan Sunday Sabbath to joining hands with the USA, which is the second beast of Revelation so as to create an image to the first beast by signing the 501c3 contract with the second beast. And this is why most will receive the mark of the beast.
For example; most in the churches believe the mark of the beast is either a tattoo or a computer chip because, just as it is impossible to understand doctrine without being weaned by milky Scripture, one cannot understand prophetic symbolism until weaned here as well. For if you only read the Bible on the surface wherein most milk resides, you will think the mark is literally IN the flesh like a tattoo or a computer chip. But if you study how prophetic symbols are defined in Scripture, will find the mark in the right hand means in reality that you accepted the mark so as to prevent losing your business or your job. And for those that receive the mark in the forehead, they didn’t have to be forced with losing their ability to buy and sell because to receive the mark in the forehead means they openly agreed to accept the mark of the beast.
