JACKSON, Miss. (Reuters) — A federal judge has blocked a Mississippi law intended to allow people who object on religious grounds to decline services for homosexual ceremonies.

US-based computer vision specialist Sighthound has launched a new facial recognition system for mobile applications. The company is presenting its eponymous app at the CVPR conference in Las Vegas this week.
The software enables not only facial recognition, but also face detection and tracking, and all via live video feeds. At the CVPR conference, Sighthound is demonstrating the technology on an iPhone 6 and an iPad Pro, but the company says its software isn’t restricted to iOS. It’s marketing it to OEMs interested in bringing such technology to mobile applications, with CEO Stephen Neish asserting in a press release that the company’s aim “is to make computer vision easy to use – that now includes customers who want to deploy solutions on mobile devices.” Continue reading

Dr. Xiaoping Ren, otherwise known as “Doctor Frankenstein” in China, claims he and colleagues will perform the first human head transplant next year.
Speaking on the specifics of the procedure with the New York Times, Dr. Ren said the surgery would consist of removing two heads from two bodies and attaching the donor body to the beneficiary’s head. What this pastor and all the unknowing people that may eventually send him the $475,000 he needs is, it’s all HIS FAULT! This is not a free speech situation at all and so I see no reason topost it as such. If this pastor, like all the other pastors that signed unto the 501c3 trap that was prophesied thousands of years ago would have read the contract they were signing, he would know it’s written right into it that once he signed that contract he can no longer speak politically from his pulpit. And so now he’s in hot water after getting caught telling his people in the church to recall the Mayor. And he deserves to be in trouble because he reneged on the contract.
