‘Faithful’ Catholic senator wants to force healthcare providers in New Mexico to participate in abortion

Gerald_Ortiz_y_Pino_810_500_55_s_c1A self-described “faithful” Catholic has introduced legislation forcing Christian healthcare workers to refer for abortions and Christian hospitals to perform them.

State Senator Gerald Ortiz y Pino introduced Senate Bill 282, which would repeal religious exemptions for participating in abortions.

SB-282 states, “A hospital shall not refuse to provide a reproductive health service if withholding the reproductive health service would result in or prolong a serious risk to the patient’s life or health; and, where a failure to provide the reproductive health service would violate the medical standard of care owed the patient.”   Continue reading

Worry of copycats in states with assisted-suicide laws

125_2016_ap-113930235798201_c0-415-4148-2833_s885x516“Physicians, researchers and ethicists are grappling with the copycat effect of suicide and rising U.S. suicide rates as jurisdictions enact laws to allow the terminally ill to take their own lives with the help of a doctor. Dr. William Toffler, national director of Physicians for Compassionate Care, says suicides do not occur in a vacuum but among others who might be moved to imitate the act, a phenomenon called the “Werther effect.” An increase in suicides should be expected where assisted suicide is legal because society is sending the unmistakable message that killing oneself is a proper response to life’s challenges, he says. “Essentially the message is, ‘I’ll avoid these problems by killing myself,’” says Dr. Toffler, a practicing physician for more than 35 years in Oregon, which became the first state to implement an assisted suicide law in 1997.” –Source

Amazing how they talk about this as if it’s all just an unfortunate phenomenon wherein if one person does it another will follow. How many of us recall our mothers saying, “If Johnny jumped in the lake, would you jump too?” That’s right, most people today will say, huh? Mom never said that! But in my generation it was the favored comeback of moms all over America when you got caught doing something wrong with your friends. I know, this was a regular occurrence in my home seeing how we were the largest family in the State, if not the nation. (I am one of 11 children)   Continue reading

VIDEO: First child dies by euthanasia in Belgium

131127212510-belgium-euthanasia-magnay-pkg-grab-story-top“A terminally ill minor has become the first child to be euthanized in Belgium since age restrictions were lifted in the country two years ago, according to several sources. A Belgian lawmaker told CNN affiliate VTM that the physician-assisted suicide happened within the past week. The child, who was suffering from an incurable disease, had asked for euthanasia, Sen. Jean-Jacques De Gucht told VTM. The identity of the child and age are unknown.” –Source

The article either got it wrong, or purposely twisted the facts to make it seem ok to kill the child since they claim the baby asked to be killed. #1, the child’s age is actually known. The little girl was ten months old. And #2, the author of the article, or the editor of the author’s article lied when they said the child asked to be murdered. A ten month old baby cannot ask or even understand such a thing let alone speak full sentences. This is nothing more than a gilding of the lily so as to make killing a little girl seem moral, legal and necessary. And just as the word “abortion” makes child murder seem less shocking for some, the word “euthanasia” has been doing the same thing for decades upon the minds of those without morals. And now, seeing how the blood thirsty doctors who kill people are hungry for more blood, they have now made it legal to kill little children as well.  Continue reading

But as it turns out, this Cocaine-Cola connection is not entirely new; Coca-Cola has been intimately linked to domestic manufacture of cocaine in the United States for years.

A little glimpse into Coke’s history reveals all. Continue reading

ABC, NBC Ignore All ObamaCare Failures in 2016, CBS Barely Covers

The broadcast networks have refused to cover the repeated failures of ObamaCare in 2016. During the entire year, ABC World News Tonight and NBC Nightly News have yet to give the floundering program any coverage at all, while CBS Evening News only found time to cover two of the ObamaCare updates – and that only added up to 2 minutes and 18 seconds of coverage for the entire year.

To put that in perspective, these same three evening news shows managed to find 46 minutes and 49 seconds to dedicated to Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte running afoul of Brazilian police.

Here are some of the major ObamaCare developments that the networks ignored: Continue reading

Pentagon’s ‘zombie pandemic training’ teaches military nurses how to quarantine civilians, administer vaccines on massive scale

The online population health course in this program has students working through a number of creative scenarios, one of which is a zombie pandemic.

Nurse suspended from job, facing disciplinary action for refusing to administer children expired vaccines

A nurse from northern Morocco recently refused to administer a large amount of vaccines to children at the Rural Health Center in Al Hoceima. The nurse stopped administering the injections because she was concerned that the lots had expired and would cause further medical complications for the children. In fact, the vaccines in question had been stored in an unsuitable environment. The vaccines were not handled properly, and over heated to 18 degrees Celsius, which is 10 degrees above the legal limit. This temperature change most likely rendered the vaccines even more dangerous than what they already were. This nurse did the right thing and kept the injections out of the children. Majority of Americans Think Euthanasia Should Be Legal, Poll Finds

Should a doctor be allowed to end a patient’s life by painless means if the patient requests it? In the 1940s and 1950s, most Americans thought the practice should be illegal, but now 69 percent say it should be legal, according to a new study.

As many as 69 percent in the U.S. say physicians should be allowed to end patients’ lives by painless means, and 51 percent say they would consider ending their own lives if they personally had a disease that could not be cured and they were living in severe pain, a new Values and Beliefs poll by Gallup found.
