Jerusalem interfaith event to bring together leaders of Abrahamic faiths

download(JNS.org) A new interfaith and spiritual gathering of Christians, Jews and Muslims will take place in Jerusalem this September.

Amen-A House of Prayer For All Believers”, part of the 2016 Mekudeshet Festival from September 4-23, is an initiative created by the Jerusalem Season of Culture, an annual festival in Jerusalem, to bring together the world’s three major faiths “who share a belief in one God and a boundless love for Jerusalem to dialogue, study, sing and pray together in one temporary house of worship,” said a press release.

Drugged-Up Clubber Suddenly Realizes She’s In Church Worship Service

club-696x394AUSTIN, TX—After a 12-hour, drug-fueled night of club hopping, local party girl Jenny Wilson suddenly came down off her high to realize she was just in the middle of a local church’s worship set Sunday morning.

According to sources, at around 8 a.m. Wilson had told an Uber driver to take her to The Gathering, a dance club downtown—but the driver instead dropped her off at a church with the same name, which was just beginning its early service. Hillary Clinton Woos Catholic and Evangelical Leaders With Global Development

Hillary Clinton campaign representatives and supporters have held two private meetings with top Catholic and evangelical leaders in Washington to discuss the global development policies of a potential Clinton administration.

Several of Clinton’s former State Department advisors organized the meetings via their foreign policy volunteer group, “Idealists for Hillary,” which is working to activate supporters in global development networks. Cindy Huang, a former advisor for State’s Global Hunger and Food Security Initiative, helped to convene the closed-door sessions, each for about a dozen religious leaders. Continue reading →

Evangelical Lutherans Overwhelmingly Vote to Approve Declaration of Unity With Roman Catholics

ELCA-compressed-701x423NEW ORLEANS, La. — The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) voted overwhelmingly last week to approve a declaration of unity with the Roman Catholic Church in an endeavor to “enumerate the many points of agreement between Lutherans and Catholics”—a move that some state is contrary to biblical Christianity.

The “Declaration on the Way” was approved 931-9 during the denominational assembly at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. According to an official press release by the ELCA, members stood and applauded following the vote.

The declaration “seeks to make more visible the unity we share by gathering together agreements reached on issues of church, Eucharist and ministry,” the document outlines. However, it is called “on the way” because “dialogue has not yet resolved all the church-dividing differences on these topics.” Continue reading →

‘Punish Christian for Bible on desk’, say secularists

Secularists are demanding ‘swift, visible and aggressive punishment’ for a US Air Force Major because he has had an open Bible on his desk.

The Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) said the situation was “repulsive”, “sordid” and “disgusting” and had left 33 families “very scared”.

Donald Trump Promises Evangelicals ‘Great Power’, Higher Church Attendance

donald-trumpRepublican presidential nominee Donald Trump promised a group of pastors Thursday that he will unmuzzle and empower the “silenced” church and increase church attendance by repealing the Johnson Amendment if he is elected president in November.

The Johnson Amendment, which is a piece of legislation prepared by former President Lyndon Johnson and passed by Congress in 1954, is often described as prohibiting charitable organizations (including churches) from endorsing political candidates.

Trump took aim at the legislation while speaking at a two-day event which began Thursday at the Hyatt Regency on International Drive in Orlando, Florida, entitled “Rediscovering God in America Renewal Project.” Continue reading →

Why Catholics thrive in the CIA

But could their dominance be weakening? …The CIA is the best known of the 17 agencies that comprise the American intelligence community. It has earned itself nicknames like “Catholic Intelligence Agency” and “Catholics In Action”. It’s worth exploring why. No official statistics exist on Catholics in the CIA or any other American intelligence agency. But one interesting clue is the relatively high number of Catholics who have served as director of the agency.” –Source

And why do you suppose they don’t want to have a list of Vatican operatives (Catholics in high office in USA) in the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA)? Seem obvious to me. Especially since many already know about the information being posted online that confirms the CIA is running ISIS. If the general public knows the Vatican runs the CIA and ISIS it will make it far too easy for the common man (you and me) to make the connection between Islam and the Vatican. Continue reading →

‘Pope Francis’ Claims Mary Was ‘Assumed Into Heaven Body and Soul’ on Feast of Assumption

Bar association targets Christians for ‘discrimination’

supreme-court“The American Bar Association has adopted a new rule it says will crack down on discriminatory conduct in the legal profession, but conservative critics warn the real goal is to silence views contrary to the group’s liberal orthodoxy on gender identity and sexual orientation and drum attorneys who hold those views out of business. …It is professional misconduct for a lawyer to: (g) “Engage in conduct that the lawyer knows or reasonably should know is harassment of discrimination harass or discriminate on the basis of race, sex, religion, national origin, ethnicity, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status or socioeconomic status in conduct related to the practice of law. …This is an attempt to silence Christians in the legal profession. The main drivers of it are LGBT activists trying to eliminate religious liberty defenses on matters pertaining to same-sex marriage and also transgenderism, to purge observant Christians from the legal profession” –Source

So many scoffers stated out loud and bold (and still do) that students of prophecy as well as some that actually understand the movements of the shadow government running things in the US Courts were insane for assuming homosexual laws will make Christians into third class citizens, less able to find work, keep businesses open, preach the Bible or even have a voice in society in general and yes we will also see certain freedoms in life completely removed due to our faith. US Churches Prep for Eventual Terror Attack, Experts Say

Instead of peacefully providing a safe haven for observances of faith, places of worship in the U.S. are beginning to prepare for the worst amid the recent events in the War on Terror, experts told Hollie McKay of Fox News. 

 “I’m pretty sure there will be attacks in the future,” International Christian Concern president Jeff King told McKay. “Until [radical Islam is defeated], we can expect Christians, including in the West, to rationally tighten security measures and try to protect themselves from attack.”

Two men operating for ISIS killed a Normandy, France, priest, slitting his throat in open church in late July, signaling places of worship as potential targets for terror in the U.S. and abroad.
